Sony 26" Console

OK GUYS.. GALS..do you think i am nuts for bidding,and picking up this sony 1982 console set?.I said i would never do it again..I drove to chicago today
to pick it up,it is in mint shape..inside and out,i even got the sales receipt,not a scratch all real wood.. bad flyback and the typical mn8303 regulator..it just looks so bold..i feel guilty..someone make me feel better..
pics are from inside my garage..the yellow ring is some sort of distortion from the camera..
