Zenith model A1926W
Found this set at my local waste dump for free. How do I adjust the screen geometry, as the image is too big, and cut off on the edges? Also, is this a convergence problem?
The set: https://drive.google.com/file/d/12gJ...w?usp=drivesdk Screen size: https://drive.google.com/file/d/138B...w?usp=drivesdk Convergence issue?: https://drive.google.com/file/d/137X...w?usp=drivesdk https://drive.google.com/file/d/132Y...w?usp=drivesdk I don't think the text should look quite like that? I'm aware that the different phosphors appear when you look close at white text, but I don't think it should be running like that? Last edited by Kenshiro; 09-02-2024 at 10:41 AM. Don't worry about convergence until the picture size is correct.

I'm honestly thinking that the convergence issue is caused by the image size. I think I will get much better convergence when I get the image sized right.

If the conv issue shows in the middle it needs adjusting. Best to
find a SAMS original PAPER manual. Before touching the magnets mark them before moving. There may also be a locking ring. Turn color off, run the contrast & black level down. Adj focus, turn off auto color switch. Converge...... Never seen a size problem on one. There is one adj that may be it BUT need a manual for that. 73 Zeno ![]() LFOD ! |
