Seriously, it says that right on it.

Sadly this is one of the ugliest 60's portable sets I've ever seen.

I'd get it because it's a Philco. I had a Slender Seventeener in Alligator White that I never got back from the friend/repair guy. I didn't know better at the time.

yes,that is ugly!i ve never seen this one before.and i thought the dualette was kinda distasteful!

It makes me wonder what the other furniture would look like, in a room where this TV fits in! I'm imagining a lamp made out of a wagon wheel, one of those coffee table/magazine holders with spindles, wood frame couches with similar ornaments, cheap paintings of horses... might be just the thing for watching John Wayne.

huge electrical wire spindles made from wood, with a thick epoxy based finish (for round tables).

doorways with beads

wine bottles for candle holders

blacklight (uv) and posters

bean bag chairs

stoned again poster on wall

yea, I remember the 60's and 70's well

I actually own one of these! Found it in the attic of a TV shop. It uses a cheap, series-string chassis, post-Predicta I guess you'd say. A cheap set all around. I did get mine working without too much trouble. I'd sell it, for a good price, if anybody was in love with this design.
