My guess would be a Sears (built by Sanyo) from the mid '80's. Might possibly be branded "LXI" or "SR2000". If it's not a Sears, it could be a Montgomery Ward set. Slight chance it could be a Curtis-Mathes from the same time period. I can tell you that it's likely not an RCA, Zenith, Magnavox, Sylvania, Philco, Quasar, Panasonic, or GE as the control panel does not look like anything I've seen on any of their '80's offerings.

FWIW the grille overlay and the two drawer pulls underneath looks like a 79 Sylvania but I think the mask doesn't look right for that. A lot of consoles looked similar though. Was trying to guess what the blurry writing says on the panel, no luck.

my educated guess - MID-80'S CM (NEC) set
i have one very similar - photos are on here somewhere in a diff. thread (http://www.videokarma.org/showthread.php?t=247337)
the bezel and the control layout are the giveaway
