Casablanca on Laserdisc
My father-in-law and I just finished watching Casablanca on Laserdisc. He'd never seen LDs before. I don't have a huge collection or anything, but do have about 30 movies. I'd like to add to my collection sometime, so I may have to start searching ebay for some titles.
But it was a thoroughly enjoyable way to spend a cold Saturday afternoon. I always enjoy watching classic movies. JD

I watched Taras Bulba and The Lighthorsemen on LD a couple of days ago.
I still use LDs of pictures that aren't on DVD but if a picture comes out on DVD I toss the LD unless it's something special, like the big Wayneamo LD, the DVD isn't as inclusive as the special edition LD was. Or Zulu which is multi-track on LD but mono on DVD. (?!?)

There are so many good movies that can be picked up on laserdisc these days for just a song.Still a fun format,IMO.I still purchase them when I see something special.Casablanca..good choice for a laid back movie day.
