That's quite cruel actually. If people can't be bothered to hand wash their pets then they don't deserve to have them.

IMG_4129.JPG Its good to have rodent control in your shop.
Here's the new kid in town, checking out the bench as a 1955 Crosley is being restored.

^ Ha, and that so-called TV wasn't even hooked up. Got to wonder how the cat was made to do that though.

funny, the Cat is totally indifferent to the fact he nearly killed his Human.

I think cats rarely pay attention to the saying "never bite the hand that feeds you". Or in Garfield's case "It's not wise to rub out the hand that feeds you", which the apparently modern tech-hating cat wasn't paying attention to.

I knew a couple with a short-haired male tuxedo cat originally called "Boozle", which I think was due to the half-asleep, had-a-few-beers-in-him look that was always on his face. He was quite heavy on the lap, and liked to head-butt. The owners often nicknamed their cats; he eventually got "Diger". |

![]() We took in Spunky with her three kittens in 2001 but all three kittens have passed from sickness and natural causes so we only got Mom left in the family. We also have Rascal, we took in back in 2007. He is like an adopted son.

I had two cats, Shawn and Jonah. They were both white and quite affectionate, but Jonah had a very bad habit of chewing on electric cords
and he also chewed up an expensive computer printer cable. Both cats are since deceased, but I now have a very nice brown, black and white cat named Kiki. She is seven years old now (I got her at the animal shelter here in Lake County when she was three and have had her four years) and is turning out to be the best cat I've had so far. She is very affectionate and likes to stay near me as much as possible; she always finds me and lays on one armrest of an easy chair in my living room in front of the TV. She also sleeps with me (at least until I fall asleep), which is very nice during northeastern Ohio's long, cold winters. She has also found a spot under my desk where she will stay with me while I am working at my computer. She is so affectionate, warm and cute that I actually feel sorry for the people who gave her up for adoption before I got her; the reason they had to give her up was that they had moved into an apartment or condo where pets are not allowed. I can only imagine how much they must miss her.

Since were talking about cats, I just thought I share with you guys a picture my cat. LaLa is very loving, sits on my lap and purrs while I surf the web. She loves to paw my neck wanting attention.

Thanks. Mom is doing well, she has wound issues but she has a vacuum bandage to help it heal faster. BTW, the cat my avatar is "Whitey," Spunky's daughter. We lost Whitey last October, she was only 11, kidney failure although the vet said she had a stroke too. She's Spunky's last kitten, Whitey's brothers passed on too, Greystone in 2006 to kidney failure (only 5!) and G.W., Dubya, in 2011, at the age of 10, cancer. Spunky, the mother, is the only one left in the family and we have Rascal, born in 2007, he's like an adopted son. Whitey was like a Snowshoe cat, she was either half or quarter Snowshoe it seems but she looked purebred.
