Tis true that cat owners joke freely about cooking eating them
and other treachery because they have an annoying sense of complacent entitlement. The walnut-sized brain conjures up unending actions to cause annoyance and worse for their caretakers. They walk right in front of you causing tripping, dropping laundry baskets and other things to assert control. It is a normal manifestation of our seething jealousy to want to do these things, like putting strips of painter's tape, sticky side up, on the kitchen countertop. I have taken to placing screen mesh behind speaker grill cloth to foil their random acts of destruction on my 1930's radios. ![]() My outdoor cat (his choice), my third of those "Orange/white" ones, only 10 pounds and very fast, friendly, and can climb anything without needing rescue. Herby 2011.jpg The indoor cat is an 18 pound female, part maincoon, likes attention from the kids and is very noisy. Tawny 2012.jpg Last edited by DavGoodlin; 08-03-2012 at 09:57 AM. |
