I had a Philco Seventeener II once and had a terrible time figuring out how to get that thing apart. A bet if I had the Sams it would have made more sense.
Great, great haul! If all you picked up was the 48-1000 that would be more than enough. There really isn't much I'd grab these days but that would be on my short list.

I just did one of those philcos minus the uhf tuner. The chassis came out the front complete w the crt with some wiggling. Was tight, has wood spacers holding crt . Was my 1st tv resto.
