When did you first observe CRT cataracts and Green halo?

The only solid state sets that I remember seeing with the green halo were a late '60's Quasar WID console and two early '70's RCA XL100 consoles. I don't recall seeing, in person, a SS set with the moldy looking cataracts. Now, my RCA CTC25 combo has cataracts and according to a receipt I found in the cabinet, the CRT was changed in '78. I don't know what brand as the rats, roaches, or whatever ate the label off the CRT.
