Taken-Like others said,I dont think Liam Neeson is capable of a bad performance. The story is like a live video game, but a lot of fun.

Hes just not that into you-Much better than I expected.Kind of the whole "Venus and Mars" thing goin on,but its script is better than I expected.Luiz Guzman has a priceless little role as a foreman on a job.He gets the best line in the movie.

Revolutionary Road-Can I slit my wrists now?

Push-If you liked Next and Jumper, then you might like this fantasy thriller. It kinda made my head hurt, though.

Curious Case Of Benjamin Button-Much better than I expected.Great performances, and a wonderful story. My wife thought that it reminded her a lot of Forest Gump.In many ways Id have to agree with her.

Jimmy

Frost-Nixon

OK movie--terrible sound editing! Interesting back-story about David Frost. Despite the critics, Langella is remarkably Nixon-like. Michael Sheen does a great job with David Frost.

"Roberta"a rather creaky so-called biography of Jerome Kern. The plot's a big nothing but the movie has some big plusses:

1. The female lead is the splendid Irene Dunne.
2. The music of Jerome Kern and Dorothy Fields.
3. Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. When they're onscreen the film becomes +. Seeing (and hearing) them dance to the music of Kern/Fields is pure movie magic. It just couldn't get any better. Ginger was gorgeous, Fred was dapper as ever, and, well......there's a reason they were/are dance and movie legends.

When Fred and Ginger were struttin their stuff "Roberta" was the top, otherwise it was just another enjoyable 30s movie.

Juno.

Did anyone catch the bands she liked? Mott the Hoople, Iggy. What did I miss?

Turntables, systems galore.

Great movie, and I'm an old fart. I can relate to that character too. I work with a lot of young kids.

Bangkok Dangerous with Nicolas Cage.

Decent enough, good action, story. Directed by the Tang brothers out of Hong Kong, their Asian sensibilities gave it a different kinda twist. Location shots in Thailand were beautiful and exotic.

last pm, watched 'repo, the genetic opera'; blu ray.

i was expecting a sci fi story, got a rock opera. shoulda done some research other than the n'flix synopsis.
but the music and singing was good. no dialog.

glad it was a netflix rental and not a purchase.
