My wife and I watched "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story."

Incredibly silly in an over-the-top way. We laughed a bunch.

Into the Wild

A good movie where young idealism meets naivety. I also enjoyed the songs Eddie Vedder wrote for the movie.

I think Sean Penn is a great talent, I like almost everything he does.

Waltz With Bashir-- animated in a graphic novel style, tells the story of a former israeli soldier trying to break through his blocked memory of a massacre of palestinian and lebanese civilians in the conflict with lebanon in 1983. it addresses the tacit complicity of the israeli army in the horror inflicted by the 'christian' phalangists run amok in beirut. when the guy's memory finally breaks through, the switch from animation to archival footage is like a fist coming through the screen. highly recommended, but my thought was 'you'd have to be a really brave, open minded jew to see this film'....

Good Will Hunting

I've seen it in bits and pieces, but finally got the rental.
Glad I did, very good film.

I loved his speech about the decoding job and the kid from Southie with the shrapnel in his ass. Still topical 12 years later, which says a lot in it's own right

"He's just not into you" - probably the best "chick flick" I've seen in a long time.
