Me, either. An older guy stickin' it to punks appeals to me more & more every day, for some reason..

Definitely a must see, but I don't think it can top "Unforgiven", one of the greatest movies ever made.

Gene Hackman: You just shot an unarmed man!

Clint Eastwood: If you're gonna decorate your place with my friend, you better be armed!

You are welcome but I am sure you would've found out.

Might get to it this week if there is time.

I can't think of the name. But it seems like it's gonna be like that old Charles Bronson movie where he goes and cleanes up a neigborhood

Word of warning guys: I have it on good authority from a friend lucky enough to see preview showings of Gran Torino: that it is emphatically not a Dirty Harry or Death Wish kind of film. He enjoyed it immensely, and I trust his taste when it comes to films; but he used the word "surprised" and "unexpected" in reference to the themes, content, and plot of this one. He mentioned that one of his fellow movie-goers left in a huff, because he'd come looking for Unforgiven and didn't get it...

I've been trying to see this movie since it's limited release. It's now showing "expanded" whatever that means. But it's still not in any theaters anywhere near me and there are a lot of theaters around here.

The Ebert review seems to sum up for me pretty well what kind of film I thought it was from viewing the trailer.

But it doesn't appear I'll be seeing it anytime soon as it is only playing in one theater, in Boston, and nowhere in the 'burbs.

That move should be titled "Designed to Fail".
