Console TVs from the future: in Star Trek
In the pilot episode of Star Trek, they show that the captain has a console TV set in his cabin.
Not much detail visible here, as they used strange lighting in this picture. Even in the future, you still have power cords on the floor...  Looks like the source doesn't allow direct linking, so I uploaded it myself, but I kept the attribution in the lower right corner to keep it "fair use".
