Countries without TV in 1986!

I was recently reading a late 1986 magazine devoted to videocassete enthusiasts. In that magazine I read a very curious article, that said that there were still 12 countries in the world without TV stations! Wow! I found that almost unbelievable. I wonder if there's still some country in that situation today. The same article said that there were still 32 countries without color TV. It also said that the most used color system in the world was the German PAL ( 64 countries ). The second and third places belonged to the French SECAM ( 33 countries ) and the American NTSC ( 28 countries ).
