Funky old Sears on eBay

One of those sets we were talking about a while back, perhaps a little older?
Looks VERY clean!

Dern it, that's the one I really wanted! If I can remember correctly, it was the first color TV under $300. Consumer Reports did a Once Over on it but they weren't terribly impressed.

Well, it's in Ohio and it's pickup only so I guess I have no chance

(And considering I still can't get VHF on the Sears model I just bought, that might actually be a good thing!)

Maybe you do.....

I CAN pick up that set for you, and keep it in my storage garage, if you want it. College hill is just a hop, skip and a jump from me. It is where I found the Marantz Model II last July.

So...I can get it if you want to bid. I can keep it here for you, till you can find a way, or a ride for the set.

I need a set to find it's way from Vermont to me, or at least halfway there. It is a 630TS modded with a 12" tube. It is in bennington, VT. I don't think I can wait till the etf to get a ride for it. It is all paid for and ready to pick up.

Maybe we can "meet each other half way" on getting the sets here!!

rca, you're on!

I've decided I really really want this set so I'm going to bid on it. If you don't mind picking it up for me (assuming I win), I'll certainly pay you for your time and trouble.

After that I'll figure out some way of getting it here.

Great. Just what I need; another set I won't be able to fix@

The offer has NOT expired!!

I can still go and get the set. I think it will fit in the trunk of the Riv, (certainly "most" of the way, anyway) and so, I can get it for you. Let me know when.

As for getting it there--- Perhaps you could pick mine up for me in Vermont, and we could "meet halfway" or somethng. Maybe in certral Pennsylvania or such.
