Holy Grail find for me today!

I promise I'll get a pix, but I found a set I have been looking for at a thrift store today AND it was only $10.00!!!! I found the top of the line 19" Zenith System 3 for 1981. It's in a wood cabinet, is a space command and has Space Phone!!!! I have wanted a space phone set forever!!!!!! And the best thing is that the set came with the original working remote. Of course being a Zenith, the set has a better picture than my "higher end" new Toshiba. I have to get a phone "extension" wire to plug the phone feature in, and will let ya know if that portion works. I haven't seen a Space Phone set since my Uncle sold them new. When these sets were new, they were priced at 749.95!

That's a great find! My former boss at work gave me 2 1982 wood cabinet Zenith System 3 19" sets. One had a bad power supply/main board and another had a bad video output board. The set with the bad power supply module was the Space Phone set and I used the video output module from it to get the other set going.
Mine has a remote control (infrared) with the phone functions on it. Need to get the Space Phone set up and working.

Nice!! Wonder if it's a twin to mine (which looks spectacular, btw).

On Space Phone: it needs a pulse line to work properly. Since I have VOIP, I can only use tone. That means I can answer calls on my Space Phone but not make them.

I find Space Phone a little tricky at times since it's essentially a one-way system (you have to mute the other party while you're talking), but it sounds nice. It's digital, y'know.
