Super Troopers
Did anyone manage to get thru this stinkbomb? I missed this one in the theater but sadly my luck couldn't hold out forever. So many people told me it was hilarious that when one of them offered to lend me the DVD I figured, "why not?" Bad move- I want my hour back!
 I say hour because that's how far I got before I could take no more. I can count on one hand the number of movies I've quit watching at home once I settle in with the DVD, too.And don't think it's because my taste is too highbrow! I liked Deuce Bigalow, Dodgeball & Scary Movie!  They were stupid, but at least they were funny stupid. More than I can say for ST.

Ahh, it, in my opinion, is a film that needs to either grow on you, or appeal to a quirky sense of humor you either harbor, or don't.
I personally couldn't stand Deuce Bigalow or Dodgeball, & Scary Movie was funny, but not stellar. I'll say Super Troopers wasn't stellar either, but still had some goofball actions/reactions that made it a slightly more refreshing approach to the stale comedy rehash normally offered. There's lots of superior films out ther, however to any of the above mentioned. The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Young Frankenstein, Kingpin, Run Ronnie Run, Yellowbeard, and many, many more.

Super Troopers was made by the comedy troupe Broken Lizard.It has its moments,IMO,but their newest film,Beerfest,is extremely silly and juvenille,and very funny.The bit where they show a drunk guys version of his night,and then what really happened is just classic.

Hmph... I enjoy Super Troopers very much, for what it is. I had the same feelings about Deuce Bigelow and Dodgeball as you have for this one. I just loved the "meow" game bit, hehe.

it's a hilarious movie. idk how old the rest of the viewers are but you really have to be young or at least have a youthful spirit to receive this movie's wavelengths... laughed my a$$ off with tennisdude and philmcl while watching this, it's stupid but completely upfront about it.
who wants a moustache ride!
