Motorola Combo on eBay
Looks pretty beat up.

It looks symmetrical when all closed up, but I much prefer a TV-in-the-middle configuration. It looks better and it affords better stereo separation. Not that that had anything directly to do with the TV portion back then.

I love that set!
I wondered what happened to it. It was on ebay like a year ago and I posted it here and not one comment came back.
I think it is a beautiful example of that '60's stuff. I wish I could get it but I can't. I suspect the owner will get tired of trying to sell it and send it to the trash. Would anybody who can be so kind as to tell me if that set could possibly be a remote control set? Did anybody here sell those when new? Thanks

I've seen one of these in person and their not as big as the one in the picture looks. These have a nice sounding stereo but if the cartridge is bad in the turntable your screwed unless you can swap it for another V-M turntable as the whole head is the cartridge in this one and has to be replaced as such. It uses a tetra style cartridge that is molded into the head. At least this side by side has the sliding door so it looks symmetrical when closed. I prefer the tv in the middle combo's too but if space is a problem this would be right up your alley as its about the size of a regular console stereo.
