Some Interesting Weekend Finds

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to show off that I had a rather good weekend on the estate sale/garage sale circuit.

Picked up a Sony CVM-1250, JVC C-1336, Montgomery Wards 12386, Two Panasonic CTG-713, and Two Sony 3" Trinitron receiver/monitors (don't know the model, the stickers are gone.) Also netted Panasonic AG-1830, and AG-1970 SVHS VCRs. This stuff belonged to a guy who had a video production business back in the '80s and early '90s.

Also check out the PiloTuner AM/FM Mono receiver, and the 3 Allied Radio catalogs, from 1958, 1959, and 1961.

Everything's in working order except the AG-1830 has a dead power supply, and the Sony CVM-1250 has no horizontal sync.

Anyone else had really good weekends like this lately? It seems like a long time since i've brought a load like this home.

Looks like you did very well bud. Thats the first time i ever saw a Pilotuner with AM and FM as they were mainly known for their fm units to plug in the phono jacks of non-fm radios. Its sort of the same idea that was used when the first 45rpm phono changers came out. Nice finds!

Thx for the info. I'm not quite sure if I will sell or not. If I do i'll give ya first dibs. I was told there is more equipment in storage in another location, so I very well may be going back there for more.
