Cool Optimistic BIN price?

Or just speculating?

I think they'd be doing well to get the opening bid on this one even tho it is nice.

"These DuMont Teleset Consoles were in the same price range as plasmas are today - around $5K and up."
Uh-huh, and it's not even color, or 1950's

Another ebay seller who needs an antenna. Someone should start a service that rents them to ebay sellers so they can show that their old TVs work.

oh jeezzzzz. I hate when they throw the "Eames" word in an auction. They ALWAYS want more out of an item when they use that word. Once I saw a 1970's Zenith 9" B&W and they threw out "Eames Era". I had to remind them that Eames was a designer in the 50's and the Zenith was a 70's set. Dumont got "bought out" in the mid 50's and this set has to be 60's Era with a SS amp. It's gotta be a rebadged Emerson.

Yeah just WTF is all this hoo-hoo about "Eames" stuff anyhow? You'd think that anything tagged "Eames" is like The Finest That Ever Was, or Ever Will Be... Looks to me like most of it's just tired old junque from 50-odd years ago, nothin' special. But then, y'all know how I am...-Unca Sandy
