Modern Magnavox (1998)
My grandparents daily-watcher Magnavox just fried the yoke (my diagnosis)... Picture is folded over into a 1"x5" corner at the right lower corner. All else is normal. Anybody have a further thought?
Model # TS2768C101 Chassis # 27B800-7562 This has been a good set for them. I'm sure I could install a new yoke, unless it's one of those glued jobs. Maybe somebody has a parts set? Or just add to the landfill?

How's the B+? Those sets get all kinds of very weird power supply problems. If the yoke is the suspect, before going to the trouble of finding the correct one, just get any yoke off any late model 27" TV (Phillips if possible, but any except Sony should do for test purposes) and stick it on there to see if you get a change for the better. But don't run it more than enough to see if that's the problem. It could overtax the FBT and the rest of the sweep circuits. I doubt if it's a bonded yoke... That was an 80s to early 90s thing.
