need rca tripler

i need a tripler actually 2 used in the ctc91 & ctc92 series
rca part # 145718 [ generic replacements] will not work because they do not have a internal dc return. they will produce high voltage but you get no picture. thanks steve

Hello--this is Jack i MAY have a chassis with that tripler on it, maybe more than one. If you don't mind a used one, give ne a few days, to check my junk, and i'll see what i can find.

need tripler

Right now, on e-bay, there are SEVERAL mdr regulator modules for sale. ,used in your ctc91 and 92 sets. you might want to look int these. i DO NOT have any sets that need them.

Did you find a tripler?
I have a 145719 and 146356 .
I dont know what the differences are maybe different DC B+ voltages.

I'll see if I can come up with a little more info on these.
Are you sure both the ctc91 and 92 used the same tripler?
the 145719 on the tripler itself has 1466860-3p and MH980A05

I was looking a an old ECG book and the difference ecg shows is the 145718/ECG533 has a 1.5meg internal focus resistor and the one I have 145719/ECG537 has a internal 4.7meg resistor. You may not get it to focus with the 145719.
Both of the above are a 5 step tripler.
The 146356 is a 6step.
I don't think you will get either one to work correctly in your unit.
But if you want to buy them $20 each both are new ,never solder on in RCA boxes.
If you need any other parts contact me I closed my shop in 2000 after 25 years along with parts /schematics from my own and from buy outs of other shops plus from my dads shop 1950- up.
Also might keep in mind on the following web site has old RCA parts http://www.fouraker.com/. Excell distributing in Cincinnati
has old parts.
Its possible I may have other triplers in unsorted boxes, will look when I get a chance.
