Fate is the Hunter (B&W Glen Ford/Rod Taylor thriller based on Ernest K. Gann) Spellbound (Hitchcock classic) The Castle (Aussie fun) Raiders of the lost Ark (as seen in a movie theatre in 1981 before any of the weak copy cat films where ever thought of)

Top five after drinking
I enjoy too many movies to cut it down to a top five, but these would be my favorite five after a hard nights drinking but for some reason I can't get to sleep, in no particular order.

Dr. Strangelove A Clockwork Orange (after that, they start to run together, at least right at this moment) Tell you what... for right this minute, I'll say: Silent Running Animal House (it IS awfully funny) I reserve the right to modify my list... PS I wouldn't put "Fate is the Hunter" in a top 5, but it IS a good movie!

North by Northwest
Casablanca M (how many remember this one? It is a great movie!!) The Godfather Life is Beautiful Honorable Mention - The Original french version of Beauty and the Beast. It was actually the first talkie movie and was just an amazing movie for its time. You can leave off - Gone with the Wind for me. To me, it is over-hyped and none of the characters in the movie are likeable. Dave
