In this post, I talked about all the stuff I got for helping a coworker buddy clear out for a move. Well, apparently the deal wasn't quite finished. I gave him back the Kenwood KA-5700, donated my old iMac and a 20" Sony, and what do I get in return? My old 27" ProScan, which he just spent $140 to fix!

This set's got some history. I got it 10 years ago as an Xmas present. I sold it to another coworker when I got my HDTV. He had to split town, so he sold it to the buddy of mine who just moved. Buddy had an extra set in the basement (mid '80s Quasar 25" that came with the house), so one had to go. He has an attachment to the 15-year-old 27" Sony his dad gave him, so that's the family's main set now. The 20" Sony's in the bedroom, and the newly-repaired ProScan is back with its original owner, almost as if it were meant to be.
