Some new goodies

I just drove over and picked up four "new" sets I bought on eBay "Buy It Now"

He had a couple more that I would have liked but i had to resist due to lack of room

One is a Philco 48-1002, a very nice set and it goes well with the 48-1001 I have.

The next is a 48 Emerson 10" model 571 tabletop, channel one set in a small wood cabinet, very cool.

Also a 12" Sonora, interesting continiuous type tuner but with a small normal sized dial not the huge Dumont style. Bad CRT in this one but shouldn't be too hard to come up eith one.

Last (and probably least) is a 10" Olympic, nice compact set in a somewhat plain cabinet. missing some knobs but has a strong CRT. I may part out my 12" Olympic and fix this and the more interesting Sonora.

Well right after I finish the Crosley, the Capehart, The Hoffman, The Predicta, the CTC-7... I'll probably start on the Emerson

(the cabinet work really bogs me down!)

I really like the Philcos too but man they generally suck to work on! seems like they used twice as many parts as anyone else.
