Looks like a new replacement crt! Most of these sets originally had the frosted glass faceplate crt.

I delivered and serviced those sets when they were new, that particular set will have a T940 chassis that was introduced in 1969 for the 1970 model year. The T940's came with a smooth faceplate on the CRT so it could be the original. If it weren't over 2000 miles from me I'd be tempted....
