Sylvania 300 table top AM/FM

I found a really nice Sylvania 300 table top AM/FM radio today at a thrift.

Nice wood cabinet (Mahogany?), front was chrome edged and except for where a PO had scribed a drivers lic # in the lower front corner, it was in about as nice of condition as you ever see. I'd have given it a 10 without the # on there. I almost missed the # being there as it was visible only if you got at a lower front angle. Minimal dirt or grime and what was there looked like an easy clean.

The #, it being SS (I'd think a very early one) and the price of $25 was what caused me to leave it behind. I was expecting it to be tubed. and if it had been I might have gone for it anyway.

I even tested it there and all seemed pretty good. It had connections for a 75 or 300 ohm external antenna.

If anyone is interested let me know. At that price I dont expect it to move too fast but I've been surprised before...
