Service Technician Wanted—1968 Hitachi
Hi—I’m a collector with ZERO electronic knowledge and no tools or equipment to work on any of my sets. I have a 1968 Hitachi 12” that has a vertical sync lock issue in which it will lose sync lock after being on about 5-7 minutes. I live in Ohio and am willing to FedEx the set to a qualified service technician to fix it properly. Does anyone know a service person willing to work on older solid state sets like mine?

I do work on TVs and other electronics however as a hobby I'm self-taught so I don't know everything. I have repaired TVs, VCR, radios, and more. If you can't find anyone I'm located in Belpre Ohio.

Liammc00, Belpre is about 2.5 hours from me. I’m in Cleveland. If you send me your address (email if you like), could I FedEx the set to you? I could also drive it out to you if you’d rather do that.
