Little Curtis Mathes
Anyone have any idea who built this little guy? I'd say it is an 11" screen and is made in Japan. Quite a good performer; had a vert linearity issue which a proper set-up fixed. CRT is razor sharp and extremely bright. I want to say this is a Hitachi but am not sure.

I tend to go by the makers marks on the transformers, CRT, caps, etc.....If alot of them say Sanyo I assume Sanyo, if Hitatchi then Hitatchi, and so on....They did buy eachother's parts, but usually they tried to keep as much in-house or through parts only vendors as feasible.

Certainly not CM. It would be an 11" set in a 6' cabinet!!

Either chassis photos or a model number will tell
the story. Since they did so much with NEC in the 70's that would be my guess.... 73 Zeno

You'd date this to the seventies and not sixties huh? It is NEC all the way you were right; popped the back cover off.
Had a few guests over and everyone was impressed at its pix quality |
