Modified my homemade HDTV console set

This above is what I put together using a Samsung settop ATSC tuner, a big VGA CRT monitor, and an old RCA CTC19 cabinet. The RCA guts long gone.
Just today I was scrapping out a dead DVD player, one that had a twist knob that you could shuttle forward or backward in the DVD video. It has two push buttons which I wired to the channel down, channel up buttons of the Samsung ATSC box I have hidden inside the cabinet. But I decided it would make a reasonable twist knob channel selector, a bit like the old fashioned TV tuners. Twist right -> channel up, twist left -> channel down. "Right" = clockwise, "left" = counterclockwise.

And the little red spot just to the lower right is a power push button.

Interesting job. Now all you need is a good bezel for it.
