DuMont Decals

I know this topic has been discussed in the past on this forum, but does not seem like anyone ever found them. Looking for sources for DuMont decals for my RA-103 Chatham. Anyone know if someone out there repros them??? If there are NO rounded ones out there, any straight ones either?

I thought that ETF sold Dumont decals, but I don't see them now at http://www.earlytelevision.org/ .

If all else fails, you can send photos to Scott Wright at http://www.solidesign.bizland.com/decals.html and he'll make repros from your images. He made decals for my RCA CT-100 and Admiral 24C15 and I was happy with the results. It helps to photograph a ruler next to the decals for scale.

ETF has the Dumont logo decal on page http://www.earlytelevision.org/parts_available.html

They don't have the brightness, contrast etc.

I hope he didn't charge you for "art work" fees on those. That is the same sheet I had him run for me a while back. I don't have any more or I would have let you have my extras.

Shoot me a private message when you need a line or two. I will mail them to you. I should be getting them back when I pick up the cabinet from a friend of mine who did the restore for me. I am picking it up on July 1st.

I have a spare cabinet for one of these. PM me if you think yours is in bad enough shape that a wholesale replacement would be beneficial.

By the way, I'm getting ready to restore one of these for myself, and I have two cabinets. One is the usual mahogany, but the second cabinet appears to be walnut. Front veneer is actually mahogany, apparently stained walnut, and the top and sides appear to be actual walnut veneer. Has anyone else seen a walnut version of the RA-103 Chatham, or seen any literature that would refer to a walnut version?
