A '62 PYE pedigree on Gumtree Australia

I saw this Ad for a 1962 PYE pedigree on Gumtree Australia.

http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/maryb...tro/1042772442

This set uses the PYE T-21 chassis.

During the life of this model 3 different chassis were used.

Starting with the T-21 chassis, then came the T-23 (hybrid chassis, Introduced in about 1966) & finally the T-26 (fully solid state chassis & had a squarer CRT, Introduced in about 1971)

Again I grabbed the pictures for when the link dies. Gumtree does seem to go out of their way to make grabbing the pictures difficult for some reason.

I had one of these as a kid. I got it is far as a raster with snow, but never did get past whatever was wrong with the tuner. Lost it to a parentally enforced clean up.

The way the CRT is mounted makes me think that if I picked it up, with the CRT facing down, that the CRT would just fall right out of the set.
