Thoughts on an RCA CTC30

I have a lead on possibly getting a 1967 RCA 23" color console. I haven't seen it in person yet, just photos and the price is dirt cheap. It was advertised as a Mark I Color TV by RCA. Why they went back to Mark I in 1967 I don't know, but it has a CTC30 chassis. It's the one with the motorized pushbutton tuner and was one of their first rectangular color CRT's.

I can't find much info on this chassis. Does anyone have one or know much about them? It's in the seller's storage right now, but they said it worked 10 years ago. Of course, they all say that. The CRT has a bad cataract. I don't know how it tests. Otherwise, the cabinet looks great in the pictures.

The problem is I can't get it for several weeks. Besides, the weather here in IL is terrible and hauling it in the back of my pickup is not an option right now. Then, I absolutely have nowhere to put it. So, it'll have to go in outside storage for awhile.

If these things are real dogs, I'll pass on it as it's not worth the trouble. However, if y'all say they're uber rare and one of RCA's best; I might try to get it. If I don't get it, I'll post the info for someone else to have a shot at it.

Typical RCA for the time but a nice higher end set with the motorized tuning.
