Later Hoffman
Late Hoffman.
Does anyone know anything about the Hoffman sets from the early 60s? I found this one on the net and the seller offered it to me for free... Kinda beat up but I can't beat the price... http://stlouis.craigslist.org/atq/4132732117.html

I would guess mid to late 50's on that based on the CRT shape'
Don't know anything about the electronics but judging by the cheap faux finish cabinet I would guess lower end, possibly series string but maybe not. Hoffman made really good stuff in the late 40's but by this time I think they had declined a lot. I'd take it for free, it might yield a good CRT at least which could be used in something else or traded for something you want.

You don't see too many Hoffman sets as far east as St. Louis. They were primarily a west coast brand.

Yep, I sent them an email asking them if they could possibly hold it for a while, but from his email he is about to throw it away... Hope he reply's and says that he will keep it for a while or let someone else come and pick it up in my stead.
