Looking for an '70-'80's movie with school kids on holliday

Looking for an '70-'80's movie with school kids on holliday on a camp. The only thing that I rember about the movie:
1) They where going to the camp with the train!;
2) At the train station, before the departure, boys are throwing with water filled ballons;
3) On the train, one of the kids hids a chewing-gum on his mouth in order to pretend that he haves dental problems.
Does any one knows the name of the movie?

No idea.....but I have an idea for Kami!!

We should have a "What was this?" category somewhere.....where you can do exactly this, and FIND these things you suddenly remember....or have been looking for forever. So much of this stuff is now on Netflix when you finally remember what to look for. I'm not even beyond going to the "illegal" download sites if it's just too obscure and you can't find it for sale (probly should not allow posting links to those though).

I have not had much luck here, but have at least browsed these just for fun...but it's a site specific to answering this sort of thing. I did find "Fiend Without a Face" when someone described "crawling brains" once....and I hadn't seen that movie or knew what it was since I was like six (and it SCARED THE HELL outta me then!):

Yes...careful of course. and I tend to do that sort of thing on my "honeypot" workstation....and maybe once every six months. I have to search for something a LONG time before I decide I just can't buy it. That usually also means a torrent won't exist either...but no harm looking.

It seems more and more often NetFlix saves the day, and to a certain extent Amazon..as long as you aren't doing the watered down idiot version of NetFlix that is only streaming. The old and weird stuff is on the DVD side only. Streaming side NEVER has anything I wanna see....and I'm always just "this close" to cancelling that version.

I guess there is no better way of searching for something obscure...than going straight to enthusiasts. I've NEVER had good luck with just keywords in a search engine for a movie or TV show title. I've only found the most pedestrian stuff by using keywords like "TV talking car mother" or similar.

It does not seem familiar to me, but if possible, can you remember if it appeared to be from the USA, or from the UK, or another country? (I am thinking it is not from the USA, because most children go to camps here on a bus, not a train.)

It wasn't from U.K. The railway (railroad) cars didn't have and dye on them - like U.S.A. cars. But it is possible that the movie to be Canadian - since the Canadian railway cars resemble the one from the U.S.A.
And the railway cars with wich they traveled had compartments or where sleepers. And the train station from which they left wasn't too big.
I was younger then 11-12 years old, so I watched this movie around 1991-1994...

Yes, possibly Canadian. I was on a train for the return trip from a class trip to Truro in '89. As I recall I got off in the vicinity of the Rockingham Yard station, not very big at all. Passenger train service here took a big nosedive in '91 I think. Oh yeah, passenger train service here is provided by Via Rail and the route is called The Ocean. Has been for ages.
