Yet another Portacolor
got this one off ebay. Very nice set seems to be in mint condition. The seller did an excellent job of packing

I sure like these little things, they just keep on trucking... I thought it would be fun to video the unboxing, getting tv's thru Ebay is a real gamble, I wanted to document the whole process. That one is nice! Glad it arrived in one piece. Looks like it's the weekend of the Portacolor.

Nice example of a time-tested design.
Then it was changed to "performance television" with the AA series and the dreaded PCB griplets requiring lots of re-soldering. The Porta-color would definitely be GE's most notable contribution to CRT TV history.
