Characters Watching TV on the Same TV You're Watching Them On
Long enough title?
 MeTV's episode of Emegency! Saturday centered around a brushfire that had broken out. A minute or two into the episode, the camera is focused on a TV screen broadcasting a news report about the fire. As the camera panned over to the two doctors in the lounge, it was obvious to me that the set they were watching was a CTC-40. Which is what I was watching this on. Certainly y'all have some similar stories.

In the 80s and 90s, I saw lots of TV shows and movies with the high-end Sony monitor/TV sets being used. Since that was what I always owned, it was easy to notice them.
Especially in earlier years, it was funny to see (obvious) Sony TV sets with the brand name covered with electric tape.
