Help identifying this Philco TV
It's do or die time for this set, but unfortunately I got the set with the picture tube unplugged, and the wires dangling loose inside the cabinet with no socket....therefore I need a schematic to begin.
It's a Philco De Luxe 23, cool chassis. There's absolutely nothing on the inside of the cabinet, no tube chart, model number, anything. Ring any bells for anyone?

Looks like a 1960 model. The cool chassis was advertised from 1957 through about 1962ish. The new 23 inch picture tube was introduced in 1960, I think. I don't know the sam's number, but 1960 was sets 460-560. I will look through mine when I get a chance.

You can HAVE it. That's the sucker that's exploded on me 3 times, from the other thread.

I guess I've managed to NOT see that thread....and I wish my dad was still around. He worked for Philco. This is partly why I am into TV sets myself. He had big old Philco sets...and I started collecting real little sets much later. All his Philco sets stayed in Hong Kong and are in various places. He started collecting smaller sets here in the states, and I ended up with his collection...and growing upon it. Ironicly, he had not a single Philco set in his "stateside" collection.
He would have been able to tell me some about YOUR set if he was still around :-( I have yet to own any tube set. I want a small one.
