Zenith (Pal added company Montagni) rundie in Italy

Hello everyone, here's my last one added function in one beautiful Zenith roundie adapted to the standard Italian Pal by the company Montagni for the Italian experimental colors broadcasts of the 60s, I hope you will like ..........

I also added on the high-voltage transformer a cooling fan to prevent burning the secondary winding that in Italy is a component very difficult to find

Last time I saw this set it had a problem on the vertical oscillator... when you adjust the vertical syncro knob an horizontal line appears on the screen... but maybe the previous owner has already fixed it...

"Glorious Lollipop Color"....(grin) VERY happy for you ! You could likely have the ONLY operating color Roundie in Italy, maybe in all of Europia ! Certainly there are no more than a handful over there, in any case.

Here in Italy we have two CT100... one with bad CRT and another full operative

I'd like to see a schematic of the changes made to that Zenith set. It's novel, doing it with tube circuitry.
Is that a 120 V 60HZ set, or is it a 220V 50HZ set.

the schematic of the decoder pal tube unfortunately is not the TV has its original transformer 110 v American

You are right. Colour roundies were extremely rare in Europe. Here is an interesting Philips PAL prototype in working condition:

Doesn't that system use a delay line, or do they use the original delay line, that was part of the original color circuitry.

You are confusing the luma delay line, which all analog color TVs have, with the PAL 1-line delay.

Thanks to the original poster for this fine demo.
I wonder if the adaptor circuit used the same beam-switching tubes as the Zenith chroma demodulators to make the PAL switch? Can you see what tube types are in the PAL adapter?
