Masonite? Back Repair
Funny title, eh?
The back to my GE 16T1 was torn off, breaking a 3" triangle away. What is a good way to reattach this without it looking too bad? |

One way you *could* do this is by tracing a pattern out in laminate wallboard, and cutting it out, then hollowing out the center, effectively making a "picture frame" reinforcement for the back, then gluing it to the inside. It would make the back thicker by about 1/4"....if the screws are really short, just get longer screws.

had the same happen and i just lined it up where it was broken used wood glue and clamped it.
