Went back to Pomona and got the GE

You might recall I mentioned seeing a GE at a shop last weekend, well I drove back to the shop with the CRT checker in hand.
The set was still there and it was OK to test the tube.

As it turned out the CRT checks as good as a new one would! No Shorts, good Cutoff and I'm pretty sure it's an Aluminized 10FP4 also, that would be OEM for this set and the tube is a GE, either original or a replacement.

The set is a model 810, the one with all the brass. It's in good shape, a few minor Veneer chips but it still has a decent finish on it.
It's too nice to part out for the tube so I will restore it at some point in time.

The volume knob is wrong, one of the tangs is broken on the shaft so the correct knob won't stay on, I have another set in poor condition I can get a Pot from, or I can just Silicone it on.
