It happens here in New Zealand too...
Poor gold fish....
http://www.trademe.co.nz/pets-animal...-476147455.htmAnd then there's the other end of the scale when someone thinks their set is worth 'gold'...http://www.trademe.co.nz/antiques-co...-477366829.htm Sure, its in mint condition and looks nice but not at that price.. I picked up something similar for a few bucks! ![]() No affiliation with either... Cheers.

Here is another version on my site but in a plain console cabinet. The chassis is basically the same though. But yes a nice looking TV all the same.

What a nice collection. How nice it would be to set an easy-to-use website up just like yours!
That Philips K9 is a tinkerer's dream and reminds me of my 1972 Quasar works-in drawer. The Bellini is a sweetheart of a set. The Admiral 16H110 is very interesting as it uses US tubes but the chassis looks totally unlike an Admiral otherwise. It will be interesting to hear how your restoration goes on that one. |

HI, thanks heaps for the comments on my collection
![]() I do have more TV's just have to take photos and then add them to the page. I'm using Google blogger which is the engine behind the site and its really easy to setup and use. The Philips K9 were a great set, designed well, gave an excellent picture and were pretty reliable. The Admiral is an interesting set, there were several variants running a similar chassis, I posted about it on VK ages ago but yet to do anything with it, have got other projects I'm on at the moment, here is the link for your interest - http://videokarma.org/showthread.php?t=247703 The Bell is a neat looking set, really retro, another one I hope to get too one day. Cheers! Glen. Quote:
