Lectrotech V-7 help!

Newby on this forum. But did read about the guy whose mom bought him a lectrotech 50 scope, WOW! so maybe this is the right place to post.
I picked up a couple of boat anchor test equip pieces this week. I am a radio collector, but increasingly fascinated by old test equipment even stuf that I am not sure how to use. So now I have three scopes (two of them 3"crt) and 2 signal generators. Also got a HP 400L VTVM for $5. Two of the scopes find little to no info on. One is made in Japan 3" crt in it. Have been searching for operating instructions on a Lectrotech V-7 this thing has a door in the back with all the probes and power cord built it. Have found out its a color bar generator. So can this be used for a scope or is it only for adjusting color TV? I have only one vintage TV an Emerson 610 its B&W and one day I will figure out how to get it working. But right now I would like to know, does anyone know anything about Lectrotech of Chicago? History of Company? Any one have an instruction /user manual or schematic for any of their scopes? especially a V-7? There is a door in the back w/cables attached to the unit: A.) three are RBG, so i figured these attach to a crt? B)then there are two together red black so duh + - and C) another cable two together in a gray sheilded cable (or at least it looks like a sheilded cable might just be a plastic cover) one is red and on is clear all with clips.
Wondering is there anyway to figure out if these are input devices? if so which ones should I use to look at radio waves etc. If this can even be done with this scope. I thought it would be fun to play with it and try to use it, but I am worried about ruining it. So I want to proceed with caution.
Any tips/ideas /help will be appreciated. next time i post it will be shorter.

I have one of those color bar generators. Trying to find someone who wants it. I have not been able to find any documentation on it on the web.

I have some old test gear, and am trying to downsize. I envy you getting that HP meter for only $5!
