Magnavox tv

Would anyone be interested in an 8" Magnavox black and white solid state tv ? At my "E" waste center there is one that is in mint condition, made in taiwan, and according to the person that brought it in was never used. They took it home and put it in a closet . It was a gift from a bank when you started a new account. I looked at it and it is pristine.

If so I will take pictures and post them.

Well, my camera is still kinda new to me so right now this is as good as I can get today. I had it set on auto but it would not zoom in for me on the labels. My camera at work I use to take pictures of defective parts does auto focus well....

Not mine. I will retry to take better pictures if you need me too.

The mfg. date is october 1984.

The cabinet itself is black and white. With the trouble I was already having I did not take more pics.......Hope this helps.

That looks like the Magnavox version of the '84 12" Philco that I posted about earlier? How much would it cost you to obtain this set and what do you figure shipping would be to 39307?

I am thinking about picking this set up. I was going to variac it up but not knowing anything about solid state will that be a problem? With vacuum tube sets I read you can red plate the hot tube because the horiz. osc. will not be working correctly until it gets a certain amount of voltage. Is there anything I should know before I try this set out

That TV is from the '80's; so, just power it up normally. You probably won't hurt a thing.
