Did anyone hear about this?

I had recalled the story as I was randomly browsing ebay. I still find it hilarious.

Pffffffft! Ya know, there are actually folks that stupid out there.......When I was between 5 and 8 years old I intentionally busted the base and glass seal on a 21" CRT that is in a set that had been (and still is) rotting in the woods for decades because my folks had me psyched out about TVs storing lethal juice years after being plugged in, and I some how got it in my head that that hissing was the HV discharging, and that the HV was somehow stored in that gas that leaked out. I chafe at the thought that I was once that stupid!

Doesn't that silver stuff inside the glass mean the tube is bad?
You know, like the dark ends on a fluorescent tube mean its bad?

Did you hear the one about the QA inspector that received a lot of 2-amp fuses
and that dutifully reported that 'every fuse in the lot opened within 10 seconds
when tested at 4 amps as specified'?

You see so many eBay listings where the seller suggests a tube is bad because it has a burnt spot inside.
If you just replace that burnt out tube it'll probably work.

If he's that much of a dummy to pull that BLEEP with 7591A's, he can eat the light bulb. Maybe also some Z-9 silicone compound to help it go down.

These pictures first appeared quite some time ago, pretty sure it was a joke being played.
