another RCA 8-PT-7010

I just got this unit working here. I did the usual recap and replacement of selenium rectifiers. The sync wouldn't lock in, horiz and vert. The problem was easy to spot, the tube socket for the sync amp tube was replaced in a weird way with the new one on top of the old one, wires going through where the tube pins would have been in the lower socket. Something was loose, shaking the tube would cause the sync to go in and out. I pulled up the broken lower socket, and cleaned up the upper one and mounted that one to the chassis. That's actually not the first time I've seen a repair of a tube socket like that, they must have done it to save time, but it looks ugly, and never works without intermittent solder connections

I'll take a picture once I get it back together, this is a red one - no swivel base. And one of the rubber feet is a different size from the other 3, I know I had some of those, but I'm not sure what happened to them when I moved last summer. I might just have to get something different and replace all 4.
