Crazy Price on a Pilot-37 ... in Germany

Hi Guys,

Just for the fun of it, stare in awe at the 909 Euro! price fetched by an unrestored Pilot TV-37 in Germany:

After the rush on gold, vintage TVs to protect your nest egg...

It appears that they threw a mirror in lid set in to the deal as well...

The end of the discription for the auction states that the mirror in lid set is not part of the auction but that he is looking for information on the set. He says that there is markings on the set "KABELWERKE KIEL"
It's a really cool looking set though!

Looks to me like a post-war "FrankenLid" job using an early 50s 70° deflection CRT and a Pre-war cabinet.

Both for Eu 900.00 would have been a good deal, but this was not the offer.

Best Regards

JH

Wink

Hello @ all!

The second set looks interesting and unusual. Maybe it could be a prototype
The seller is looking for technical details and schematics for this set.

If you are talking about the price of the pilot set, have a look at this tube:

Greetings Josef

No, not really because he is the seller of both items.
