These were made by JVC. Good machines. I should have the service info on this unit.

I collected a few of the service manuals of variations with that mechanism from the old shop I worked at, and on those when they would come in. A friend had the JVC version and it made one of the best VHS pictures. I recall there were a few common problems too.
