1972 Zenith on CL
What do you guys think? Any idea of the model? SS or tube hybrid? Obviously he does not know that color TV has been around for almost 20 years when that was made.

That set uses the solid state flat "tube looking" chassis and is one of the best sets made by Zenith. The chassis number is likely a 25DC56 or 25EC58.

the best set ever made,period.get this set.flat chassis zenith is highly collectable.i ve been seeking one for well over ten years with none found close enough to get.

That's a 25DC56/57 chassis... all SS flat chassis Chromacolor (not Chromacolor II).

I wonder how he knows it "works great" if he can't find the power cord? Oh yeah, those "first color TV's" didn't need power, did they?

I have one just like that, its a great set, not everyones cup of tea stylewise, but I think they look neat. As others have said that chassis is built like a tank.
