JVC 3100R Video Capsule TV

I ran across a JVC 3100R Video Capsule whose price was too low to resist. Radio sounds fabulous. The TV makes a momentary white blip on the screen when powering up, then no video or audio.

Perhaps it's something basic in the power supply. I have the Sams and will take a look one of these days.

While I'm at it, does this model have any gotchas or famous weak spots?

Thanks!

Never mind. Just a case of really, really dirty controls.

What a pain to get out of the case. I'm glad I don't have to replace anything on the main boards.

Couldn't resist a silly animated .GIF before putting it back together (groan).
